Any wine that can shine from a plastic cup deserves extra kudos. Mistook for a Northern nebbiolo with its structure, detail, & balance, but the fruit is pure southern, pomegranate & black currants. Eye opener (esp for 30$ list). Want to re taste in proper stemware. I think 80% nero di trioa 20% montulpiciano — 10 years ago
Very good but not 2010 or 2011. — 11 years ago
Wow. This is great. The mouth feel alone is worth it. — 12 years ago
Great jammy fruit. 89 or 90 points. A unique Bordeaux blend that shows the heat of Israel. — 12 years ago
Dirty old world Montepulciano blend. Drinks like Rioja used to in the 90s. Lots of charm and quality here. Medium bodied and easy to put down. — 9 years ago
Best ever Israeli wine I've had — 10 years ago
I LOVE aglianico. Slightly obsessed. Earth and tannins. — 11 years ago
Very unique wine that starts with a grapefruit zing and ends with a dry, cool finish. Never had this before, pretty cool stuff — 11 years ago

Light red. Kind of amazing with veal Libretti. — 10 years ago
Peppery, hazelnutty, peachy, refreshing. — 10 years ago
A nice golden tint leads to aromatics that are fruity, laced with minerals. Apricots and lemon-lime give a much more forceful nose than I expect from a Pinot Grigio. The palate shows apples, citrus and minerals in a fresh display. The acidity is bright and zippy. — 11 years ago
Gorgeous Aglianico! — 11 years ago
One would never suspect — 11 years ago
