Medium ruby in color; hibiscus, black cherries, and strawberry sauce on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like sour cherries, dried flowers, wet gravel, and a little black pepper with a long finish. — a year ago

Garnacha, Jaen (mencia), a host of others. Can something be both Mediterranean and mountainous and reflect character of both? Yes, here's proof. Wild side of garnacha- sage, thyme, black currant- mixed with licorice and plum. Sawdust tannins but non invasive and bright, clear acidity — 7 years ago
Wow un Cab espagnol frais mais goûteux .. un nez incroyable et une belle longueur en bouche ! — 8 years ago
Stinky! Barnyard and Romano cheese with a red fruit undertone. Bright and lean on the palate. Paired well with the August courses at Canlis. — 9 months ago
Dirty, dusty red fruit - red currant, raspberry, rose hip, but also a whiff of blood orange with a mineral core underneath, fresh & slightly funky.
Bone dry on the palate, with persistent bubbles, juicy fruit and a slight touch of tannins. The irony, bloody character of Baga shines through.
Unorthodox, delicious stuff. Brilliant with food. — 4 years ago
