Maybe it's the rolling hills of the northern Tuscan countryside or perhaps it's the ativan I took before popping into this bottle of Toscana Vermentino, either way it's quite enjoyable with green almond and subtle grapefruit flavors, with crisp acidity and subtle minerality. Nice FAB and complex flavors. — 8 years ago
Quite heavy with tannens however was very enjoyable. Fruity and sweet. — 9 years ago
We had this Barolo a few months ago and it still impresses. Strong lighter red fruit notes (raspberry and strawberry) with lovely floral and earth notes (roses and mushrooms). A very well balanced wine that is a lot of fun to drink. Would love to see a bit more complexity but still great — 10 years ago
Sangiovese 100% from the highest hills of Val di Cornia, western Tuscany, very close to Tirreno See. Totally vinified in wood's vats and aged 24 months in barriques and 12 in bottle. Smooth and velvet at taste, full of red fruits. Excellent. — 11 years ago

Super Tuscan made with Sangiovese, dark inky blue-purple in color, smell of raspberry, cherry and tobacco, good acidity with fine tannin, need at least 1 hr in decanter, nice long finish. — 10 years ago
