Petillant, tart, juicy, unexpectedly rich for a natural. — 7 years ago
Popped and poured. This is a hedonistic Barbaresco that's not shy about the fact it's brought more than a decent amount of fruit to the party. Quite a bit different than the Ferrando Carema we also opened tonight. That being said, it's very satisfying with plenty of character to back up the fruit. This is one of those wines that nerds and casual wine drinkers can both get into. Drink now though 2028. — 7 years ago
Fruity, not high in tannins, full mouth, cherry and plum — 8 years ago
Interesting combination of animal aromas, figs, and sweet spices. Want to try again with a nice dinner. — 9 years ago

Marta nyc Bright. Nice — 7 years ago
Right bank red. 68% merlot, 22% cabernet franc, 10% cab sauv. A different fruit than the endless napa cabs we drink. Bright red fruits, but that big dose of cab franc drives richness. Showing no secondary development at this stage and a couple hour decant is recommended. — 7 years ago
I really think the fruit is reduced this year. Still very smooth but not getting the raspberry and prune up front, only faint black cherry and then into tannins and black olive. Very fine grained tannins. Definitely changing from previous years. Closing down? Will have to check back in 2018. — 8 years ago
Sweet, smooth ripe fruits, would prefer to a cab. — 8 years ago
