2002 vintage in January 2021. This is in a great place. Fully mature with big red fruit and balancing earth. A wine that could not be in a better spot right now. Decanted at opening. Plush, soft aromas of black berries and plus just a touch of spice. On the palate this wine is juicy and soft, with velvety tannins and gorgeous acidity. Flavors of black plums and raspberries fill the glass around with wonderful spice box notes and just a kiss of oak. The finish seems to last forever with lingering spice and fruit notes.
