Tefethen '85. Napa Chard the way it's meant to be. Thank you to my New Year's Eve guests for some sexy awesomeness. Pairs well with dill-scented farro veggie stew. — 13 years ago
#latergram from earlier in the week dinner wine. Absolutely beautiful wine, so alive but still just a young gal. 1 bottle left, and she will sleep for as long as I can keep my mits of it. It was like it was born to go with the slow cooker osso buco and farro. — 10 years ago
Roast lamb, green farro risotto, broc rabe wild mushrooms — 11 years ago
Beautiful bottle showing surprisingly clean flavors of ripe black fruits and ashy earth notes. The undertones of wild yeast fermentation linger on the finish and not on the mid palate like previous releases. Nonetheless an amazing experience especially paired with grilled sausage and kraut, farro salad, and bucatini from @Frannysbk #sicilianwine #naturalwine — 11 years ago

Pairs exceptionally with seasoned chicken, farro, and crisp asparagus. Good everyday wine. Stone fruit on the nose, herby and nicely tannic. — 11 years ago

Agree that this is one note and very off putting on the open; after 45 minute decant this wine is beautifully complex with loamy earthiness, bright red fruit and light mint that dances just barely on the tongue. Wonderfully silky and smooth texture. Paired incredibly with a seared lamb loin chop, but more so with our farro tossed with shallots, grain mustard, mushrooms and pan sauce. Loved this and can't wait to open the other two. — 10 years ago
