Quite simply, buy this wine, wherever you see it. Barolo by another name, and ever so slight. — 7 years ago
This wine is definitely a SWEET red. Easy to drink when you’re in the mood for a dessert... or even not. — 8 years ago
First time with this one. Impressive for a 6 y/o wine with tons of flavour and very soft and balanced. Enjoyed. Wish I knew Barolos better as I could be more accurate with my review/comparisons. — 8 years ago
Great wine to drink it with your love one! — 9 years ago
The best wine I’ve ever tasted imho. Light and fruity, the perfect amount of sweetness. I buy it whenever I find it. — 6 years ago
Enjoyed this wine. It had a slightly tart taste but not overwhelming. Good red blend. — 6 years ago
Very good, dry, slight effervescence. — 7 years ago
Honeysuckle, sweet and dry. Floral finish. — 8 years ago
Not even close to being at peak
Funny enough I would say that for a full enjoyment of this wine we could have opened it in 10 years at least
That said on day 1 it was giving absolutely nothing, you could feel the American oak far too much, but on day 2 we have a great wine, smooth, beautiful fruits, lots of shades, but still far from its potential
It will be very hard to taste another bottle

— 8 years ago

An interesting grape. Especially to be grown in VA, but this winery does it right. — 7 years ago

Thank u @Mauro Gabriele
One of the Marveollous Beaujolais Grand Cru or so... Actually Yarra Valley Nebbiolo
It has a rose that links u to the grape
Other than that a wonderfully made fun wine
So young
I will need to come back to it
For the joy of swallowing it and to find out what's like with s little age — 7 years ago
Very dark. Makes me wonder if there is a little Petit Verdot blended in. Nose: lovely over-ripe dark cherry. Some tobacco and leather . Palate: the same. Still light and fruity. Very easy drinking Merlot out of Virginia. — 7 years ago
It held beautifully
I personally thought was 15 years younger
Lots of scents
From a dark fruit like blueberry and plum to spices like cloves and cinnamon; leather and cigars box too.
Looking for weaknesses I’d say it doesn’t have a long finish, not extremely intense on the nose( is that really a fault?) and maybe it is a bit too much on the oaky side, but altogether very enjoyable wine. Colour was misleading, still ruby and garnet, just a slight glimpse of orange on the edge. Thanks @Mauro Gabriele — 8 years ago
Great aroma great body and balance. Black berries, wood leather hints of plum, nice tannins and an earthy aftertaste with hints of dark chocolate and tobacco. Thank you #stratos83 — 8 years ago

Daniel Bloom
Better than the first bottle. Big tarry nose, underbrush, oak, Minty entry, nice tannic grip. Opened and poured, it sat 10 mins in the glass. Better than decanting. Chewy. — 5 years ago
