Borgogno's Barolo "Storico" came entirely from the Liste cru when the Boschis family owned the estate. The depth of flavor here reminds me much of Brunate and La Serra. Wow. This 2011 Vigna del Ciliego Dolcetto from high up in the Dogliani hills above 500m is delicious. Wonderful flavors of blackberry in the nose and in the palate as well as gripping acidity that shows this wine is at the beginning and can easily be enjoyed for the next 8-10 years. Impressive.
