An excellent rum from Nicaragua. The story goes that Nicaragua is active volcanically and much of the sugar cane is affected by the old lava fields infusing minerality into the molasses and caramel notes. In any event a lovely smooth rum. Will now work on the 12 year old! — 9 years ago
