Good balanced, good aftertaste of this wine blow you away. Purple color reminds young Saperavi or liquid consistency in the glass, or gouache concentrate.
Small tannins, low acidic, becoming elder would be jam.

First dry red wine from Calabria. 70% Gaglioppo (Greek origin) 30% Greco Nero. Intriguing savoury nose, some herbal elements leading to a less full bodied wine than expected and of course excellent with pasta and wild boar. Mild and extremely pleasant to drink, yet despite being delicate it does not lack character or bold taste. This wine has a beautiful almost brown colorful it which is typical of the red grapes grown in Calabria. Truly a wonderful wine to try and enjoy with friends! — 9 years ago
