Sexy, silky, seductive...just, wow. Good way to celebrate 40 years since the Paris tasting! — 10 years ago
Surprised this wasn't more tannic - thought it was very well structured with dark jammy fruits and bell pepper on the nose (actually didn't find the pepper notes unpleasant at all, which I typically steer clear of). Black fruits, charcoal smoke, cracked black pepper all hit high with some light hints of licorice and...jalapeño? All in all a pleasant wine to pair with a homemade Beef Wellington on this anniversary year of the Judgement of Paris. — 10 years ago
Honestly, Champagne doesn't usually do it for me. This one was the perfect amount of bubbly and dry! Drank in Paris. — 11 years ago
Great richness and balance of butter and acid. Paired perfectly with roast chicken. — 11 years ago

1995 vintage. At Moet Hennessy private apartment in Paris. Medium amber hue. Amazing colour. Some good maturity on the nose - earthy, morel mushroom, metallic and red fruit character. Youthful despite the complexity. On the nose, medium plus acidity, delicate bubbles, medium alcohol, medium minus body, medium plus concentration and long finish. Excellent. Very sweet. Wonderful to drink, especially in a mimosa — 11 years ago
Almost 60 years, both the wine and me when I drank it in Paris, with very good friends. I felt great and the wine tasted really super. Served blind, I called it a very well aged Pauillac. I thought it was a younger wine.😏 #bordeaux #paris #pauillac #pichonbaron — 12 years ago

Very nice southern Rhone. Bit hot at 15%, but honestly manages to stay together regardless. Nice fine finish with good earth, lots of dark fruit, and acid to keep it fresh. Excellent pairing with a braised lamb shank. Had at Les Papilles in Paris. — 10 years ago
