A lovely Napa merlot with a little addition of CS. This is the same winery that brought as the CADE and the "baby cade". The grapes are coming from the Oak Knoll region of the Napa Valley which is a bit cooler. The wine is elegant and pleasant with aromas of black fruits, cherries, light vegetal notes and red current. Medium body, smooth and velvety, with nice balancing acidity and round tannins, very supple finish. My score 88+ drink to 2021 — 10 years ago
Howell Mountain gem. You can go to Cade up the street, or spend your time more wisely at Viader. — 11 years ago

Very industrial smelling, petrol, Cade oil. Prunes, savoury, smoked. Very interesting palate, star anise, still stands strong with medium tannin. — 10 years ago
