No estaba seguro si acompañar con un blanco mis spaghettis al pesto o pedir un tinto bien especiado, opte por lo segundo y me ofrecieron este Memoro de Piccini vino elaborado con 4 uvas diferentes de diferentes partes de Italia, Merlot, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Nero d´Avola, 12 meses en barrica me gusto de color rojo profundo, notas especiadas, hierbas frescas, higos, persistencia larga, temperatura de servicio 16° C, buen acompañamiento, lo recomiendo, saludos

1999 vintage on Dec 20, 2017 with skillet roasted lemon chicken (Ina Garten). Purchased from a private collector in 2017. Drank alongside 2005 Le Cailloux C-d-Pape to compare and contrast. Although starting to show its age by the orange tinged brown at the brim it evolved beautifully in the glass. Another example of Oregon Pinot Noir that is age-worthy. — 6 years ago
This is a bottle I've looked at 8-10 times and put back recently. While...tasty, still needs lots of bedrest. This 07 C-d-P leans heavily towards Cornas. Heavy, dark tarry. It's seriously dark cassis, the core flavor of anise, blackberries are a under statement, dark cherry liqueur, olallieberries haunt throughout, Christmas cake, dark chocolate, dark cocoa, caramel, vanilla, caramel, burnt toast, dry dark florals, heavily grilled meats, strong leather, dry stones, heavy spice; big clove & nutmeg, dry stems-brambly, dry brown volcanic minerals with dust, decent acidity, strong concentration, structure, length and still out of balance with the earth it's showing. Better in 5 or more years. Wine is still so young & fresh, I'm glad I Coravin-ed it. — 7 years ago

A fairly interesting Juxtapositioning of the C-D-P, and the Menorah, burning the Third night lights.
A touch of that classic decomposing stink, amd wild berry.
3 hours open, the fruit is dark, and mingled with tabac, anise, black, oil cured olives. Tannin and acid walk hand in hand splendidly, one, never overspeaking the other.

A new experience for us tonight. A 34 year old C-D-P to celebrate our 36 year anniversary. Beautiful old red/orange color from the glass. Dried fruit and herbs, licorice and wet flint on the nose. Flavors of dried red plums and cherries, licorice , herbs and some earthiness. Still showing a slight tannic backbone. A nice long finish. — 5 years ago
