Wow. This is full of cedar box and smoke, dark fruit, that french terroir of scorched earth, its medium body with smooth tannins. Decanted 1 1/2 hours.

This Bass was brewed in New Hampshire, not Burton on Trent! I have to say, they got this right. Subtle, nutty maltiness and fine refreshing hops at a "go ahead and have another" 5.1% alcohol. @Doug Burress- this is worth a re-visit. — 8 years ago

@Rob Brobst III : Though it's no longer the same name, the new property (Brasswood) has their own label...Cab that is Coombsville fruit and a Chardonnay. Haven't had either, but hear good things. Some rockin labels make their wine there like Montagu, Addax and Moone-Tsai 👌
