some of the better quality I've had--no burn, no bite, easy finish, easy drink. incredible but no dryness, which is a deal breaker for me ;) — 9 years ago

Wow. Big, complex, delicious. 2004 — 12 years ago
Really loving this. Vibrant nose of carbonic red fruit/cherry/raspberry, flowers/hibiscus/rose, savoury herbs. Drinking it is very enjoyable. The fruit is more sour cherry/cranberry balanced by those herb notes and with some dirt/earth minerality. Blind, I would probably call this Beaujolais. — 9 years ago
Last night's wine.
Like someone burned the cookies. It was thick and chewy on my tongue like spiced Mexican champurrado with a little pepper burn on the back of my throat. Unripe cherries and lemongrass (yellow green) and something resembling licorice but not.

Very smooth blueberry semi sweet. — 10 years ago
Big boy with nice structure, a lot of fruit and dark plum color. You can definitely pick up the almost 15% alcohol but there is no after burn. Nice finish on this one and a big old ribeye would go nicely. — 12 years ago
