The Syrah definitely shows up. Adds some weight and a little olive tapenade. seemed to have a little new oak. — 5 years ago
A great modern blend, deep colour, rich palate, still strong tannins, wonderful finish. — 6 years ago

A very average tasting, inexpensive Spanish Monastrell wine. — 7 years ago
Had the 2016 on Derby Day 2025. Dark, rich fruits. Some chocolate with a hint of leather. Vanilla and caramel from the barrel. Very interesting wine. The artwork on the front label is absolutely fascinating. Had to do the back of the bottle to get it in this app. — 7 months ago
Loved this wine. Dry. Flavorful. — 3 years ago
Very different on the nose than the lips. Bouquet was almost floral while the taste was quite spicy. Turning out to be a favorite region for sure — 4 years ago
Very solid. Pairs with lamb / fatty dishes. Fruity and spicy. — 5 years ago

Solid profile. Slight earthy almost peppered. Great with red meat — 7 years ago
Smoked eucalyptus and gamey.
Blackberry, dark plum, tha basil, eucalyptus. mint, anise, layer upon layers of gorgeous fruit, with herbs dancing with great pagan mystery, underneath those waves.
This is one of those wines that hits every bit of what you want a more expensive bottle to be.
Priced to buy by the case as a every nighter.

TW Nice wine but nothing extraordinary, good value when it's on sale. — 9 months ago
Similar to a cab sauv — strong aroma but not too strong on the palette. Not oaky which is great! Dad likes this one a lot. — 10 months ago

I like this bottling for its quality & price point. Although the ABV is rising (15.5%), it really doesn’t show it.
The 21 is well made but needs another 7-8 yrs in bottle to reveal its better self.
