BIG nose of honey, melon and wisteria flowers. Strong flavors of lychee, minerals, melon, spices and honey. Hint of sweetness. Lots going on in this white, but even though it is busy, it is well balanced. Pleasantly oxidized with a short finish. Memorable FLX Gewurtz.. — 7 years ago
Very light color with just a hue of yellow. Nose of petroleum, flowering note, dried apricots, and a touch of lime. Taste of refreshing acidity from lime, flowering note, decent sweetness, and a slight touch of sour cherry and stringent. Aftertaste of nice lime, light, but a bit watery. Overall, a nice Riesling form fingers lake region. — 8 years ago
Not too dry. Not too sweet. This is a classic Merlot. And for the price, there are few things better! — 9 years ago
Game changer. More precise than most Galician examples. Fresh, live, superb! #microclimate #albarino #flxwine — 9 years ago

This review is for the 2017 Cab Franc Sans Oak. Yes, you read that correctly, sans oak. Served chilled. It’s the grown up version of rosé. It’s mature and smooth and delicate. And it’s just a wee bit chewy and a nice set of stone fruit notes ... cherry. And yet very raw ... not mature. No tannin flavors ... no acid. Just delicate ... not at all what I associate with cab franc. Try it. Chilled. Instead of rosé. On the hottest August day with a grilled pork loin. — 7 years ago
Blinded, thought it was Syrah from Sonoma, need to familiarize myself with finger lakes wines — 7 years ago

Nice summer wine. Light. More smooth than crisp. Might be good in sangria. — 9 years ago
Slightly sweet, beautiful wine! — 9 years ago
Pronounced acidity; mineral quality; grapefruit and mint; clean — 10 years ago
A little gassy at first in the nose, but that blew off, brickish color. Black and red fruit, cherries and raspberries. I got the image of an abandoned sawmill, so the oak still shines through. Very integrated tannins, surprising amount of fruit still. This was a bruiser, initially, but it is a light bodied shiraz, now. Aging incredibly well, at least 5 more years, but drink now, for sure. A beautiful wine. Last bottle. — 6 years ago
Absolutely interesting. Serve chilled. It has waves of complex notes. Starting with a nice fruit flavor. Almost no tannin/bitter note - so I see why people don’t love it. But I do - it’s an innovative take on the cab franc — 7 years ago
Sawmill creek Pinot Gris . Dry with some citrus acidity. Billsboro is one of my favorite wineries in the finger lakes. — 8 years ago
Light & lively. Hints of melon flavours. Would be nice on a sunny day outside on a deck! — 9 years ago
On a roll with me down under buddies. Y'all know how I feel about Pat Sullivan. Like a juicy clementine being rubbed into yer gums. Magic. I've got to go on to a tasting sesh after this with Tutto and Gergovie; already in no fit state. Updates coming up. — 9 years ago

Unique rosé...floral on the nose. I worry there might be some sweetness but the dry bitter super cranberry in the mouth and finish brings it home. I love this winery... — 5 years ago
