Jammy with some subtle sweetness. Fairly tannic but opens up nicely. A little acidic is my only dislike ---_-------- (a lot better once it warmed up). Lots of nice oak and dark fruit — 7 years ago

2013 vintage. Served it too cold. One hour into it it opened. Higher in oak than I would like. I think it's young but started to show more harmony as it warmed up — 8 years ago

1996 vintage. An old-fashioned Margaux made by 85 year old Jean-Pierre Boyer (who has no succession by the way). No wood here, only concrete vats Very intriguing wine, evolved colour with orange rim. Nose opens up beautifully with air, reminiscent of crushed strawberries, cedar wood and flowers. Delicate and full of finesse, very much alive. Drinking beautifully now, but given how well it reacts to air exposure this wine can evolve for many years to come. Highly recommended if you want to taste a totally different Bordeaux. YBM are more known for great whites. But this is everything you want from a Cote de Beaune red. Red fruit dominates, just a hint of wild bramble. Nutty aromas of chickpeas, warm and tangy palate. Might be good with Moroccan food. — 9 years ago
This 2008 had a nice body, and very fruity. It what I expect for nuit saint georges. I touch of acidity was a little too present. After chilling it was amazing — 10 years ago
