Ripe stone fruit, light florals, lemon curd, streamlined acid, lengthy. Fatter, bolder. Limy peppery secondary notes. A real star. — 10 years ago
Mysterious venue, mysterious wine. This Patagonian PN is bolder than its color suggests, fruitier than its origins belie, and pairs wonderfully with most things you throw at it. — 11 years ago
Very interesting — bolder than usual, strong apple tart and a pinch of spice. Darker, richer ruby colour. If blind, I'd say this is some Russian River Pinot, very young and open, but with gracious Burgundy aftertaste and overall lightness and elegance. Definitely worth trying. — 11 years ago
Excellent big bolder wine. Unusual for France. Balanced and flavorful. Had with Fritz. — 9 years ago

One of my favorite wines from my year in Florence and just as lovely as I remember it. Silky entrance gives way to bolder structure with notes of the evergreen forest around the Castello di Bossi estate. (2003 vintage) — 11 years ago
I really like this wine. Darker color, a bolder blackberry flavor with hints of pepper. Great with grilled meats of any kind. Char flavors do well with it. $30 at Orion. — 12 years ago

Bigger, bolder style of dolcetto! Black and boysenberry fruit, even tar and leather hints. Powerful, dry, with ripe and juicy fruits. Hints of black tea on the finish. A favorite we brought home from a recent trip to Serralunga and visit to the winery. Pair with a richer meat and cheese charcuterie board. — 9 years ago
