Rico muy rico😀 #bierzo #mencia #wine #winelover #spain #somm #winemaker #wines #wineporn #redwine #winetasting #winestagram #sommelier #buenavida — 10 years ago

Raúl Pérez is a Spanish wine making don! Rare bottle & grape but savoury & very enjoyable. — 12 years ago
No harvest in Label. By Raúl Pérez. Wonderful, deep, fresh, very long. — 5 years ago
Mmmmm this is a porch pounder! Light lemon/lime with nice mineral and salt. I would call it “round” not crisp. Delish.

Very soft and well rounded. Could drink for hours. — 10 years ago
This is the 2007 Raúl Pérez Prieto Picudo. Fantastic wine. Let it breathe for at least 2 hours to bring out a rich, full-bodied, dark wine. Nose is blueberries and white pepper. Palate is surprisingly bright with fine, rustic tannins. This is a very food-friendly with. Finish is very long. The combination of rich texture and bright acidity is a bit unusual and intriguing. — 11 years ago
2010. A rather serious Spanish (!) pinot noir. Quite nice, low alcohol, but the pyrazines bug me. The rest is very good; floral, black tea on the nose, typical pinot; blind I wouldn't situate it in Spain. Taste is balanced and fresh, tannins like black tea. But those pyrazines... — 11 years ago

Dry, elegant Godello from three sites around Valtuille de Abajo in Bierzo, Raúl Pérez’ hometown. Fermented in used barrels. Austere nose with notes of grapefruit and lime. Mineral, lightly saline, reminiscent of classic Chablis. Nice, slightly bitter finish. — 5 years ago
