I used to sell a lot of Carmelo Rodero’s wines and am an acquaintance of his and his daughters. They make fantastic wines, I was told that in 2017 they didn’t make this wine because it was such a challenging vintage (frost, hail and extreme summer heat) that the few grapes they had needed to be saved for the crianza and above. It has been a long time since I had last tried this wine and I was very impressed. Pronounced aromas and flavours and a nice fine grained tannins. #qpr #riberadelduero #spain — 2 years ago

Really nice cab, merlot, and Tempranillo blend. Balanced with red fruit and a little spice. Drinking nicely now but will hold up for years to come. — 6 years ago
