Really enjoyed this Malbec. Smooth with a nice spicy finish. — 8 years ago
Smooth low acidity. Taste great with chicken or on its own. For a relatively inexpensive wine, it's a great option. — 9 years ago
Inky with stewed fruit, chocolate and leather. Silky tannins and a delicious cab from the land of Malbecistan. — 9 years ago

Lots of red fruit on the nose. Strawberries and raspberries upfront with herbs and tabaco following. Good amount of tannins at the end. — 4 years ago

Simply great!!!! — 9 years ago
Does an amazing job of walking the tightrope of new/old world, fleshy fruit (pear, quince, pomelo), with just enough acid to keep it in balanced. A bit of nutty bitterness at the finish-- what it needed..,. — 9 years ago
What a great housewarming wine from the closing attorney. — 10 years ago
Full, smooth & fruity — 4 years ago
Deep ruby. Powerful black/blue fruit, incense, Indian spice and vanilla aromas on the expressive nose, with a smoky mineral quality adding urgency. Offers sweet, densely packed boysenberry, cherry cola and spicecake flavors that spread out steadily on the palate, picking up an exotic hint of star anise and a touch of licorice on the back half. Lush, broad and seamless in character, finishing with superb energy, sharp delineation and smooth, even tannins that add structure and subtle grip. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, March 2019) — 5 years ago
This went perfect with enchiladas and Mexican food. The spicy notes complimented the flavors perfectly.

Gran Rioja del gran Palacios. Gran acompañante de unas albóndigas con níscalos — 8 years ago
This wine was a great surprise, great value for the $13.99 price! A little tropical and earthiness on the nose, but on the palate it really came alive - crisp with a bit of effervescence, good acid and retaining the fruit flavor. Great with Indian food or any spicy food or shellfish. — 9 years ago
