For under $15, it's hard to complain. Dry. Floral on nose. Nice finish. Balanced like it should be. From nice area in Northwest Catalonia. — 7 years ago

Well rounded, dry wine! — 7 years ago
Made from the classic varieties of the Penedès region, the elegant 2012 L’Hereu plays richness off of vivacity with a sure hand. It delivers the complexity and balance of Champagnes costing double the price and pairs well with both delicate and fully flavored foods. (JR)

Lightly floral and leesy with the minerals at the back end. Really quite lovely. — 9 years ago
This is so much tastier than it should be for the price! — 9 years ago
Cava tastes a lot more like champagne than Prosecco, so if you don’t want to pay a fortune for your NYE wine, this might be your preference. Where Champagne is bread-dough yeasty, this is as well, but it is BOLD in its yeastiness. There are in yo face aromatics because this is edgy and harder than the other options here, which makes the smells bounce out of the glass. Want a big start to your new year? This is what I would toast with. Repeat after me: THIS YEAR WILL BE MY YEAR! — 9 years ago
