I love Spanish sherries. AKA amontillado — 11 years ago
Exceptional single-vineyard Manzanilla. Bone dry with an agile depth and weight. After 12-14 years in the solera this has a nearly endless finish. Aged manchego, chorizo, Andalusian tripe - versatile and dramatically lovely — 8 years ago

Vino muy original. Do sierras de Malaga. Uvas shyrah, cabernet sauvignon y merlot. Muy buen vino, toque justo de madera. — 10 years ago
What can I say but I love Sherry! — 10 years ago
Grandpa of Sherry. Only 30yr old grapes allowed and each batch needs to be carbon dated. This batch is now 52 yrs old. Smooth, velvety, showing its complex age with the wood — 10 years ago
Deee-licious. Wish I had a case to hoard. I would drink this all day everyday. — 9 years ago
Very good, not overly sweet. — 9 years ago
1860 Palo Cortado, Privilegio from Hidalgo, bottle no. 229, 20% Abv. The King of rare, expensive sherries. Medium mahogany hue. Ridiculous complexity on the nose: salt, anchovy, Xmas cake, walnut, wood polish, caramel and vanilla essence. On the palate, medium body, huge acidity and persistence of flavour, extremely long, while elegant and graceful. Not quite as good as a previous faultless 100 point bottle I enjoyed in Sevilla. But stunning nonetheless. — 10 years ago
Smooth mineral aroma. Acidic salty taste and a full body. Better after opening. — 10 years ago
