Aromas of baked apples, apricots, nutty and waxy. On the pallet it’s crispy and refreshing with taste of green apples, creamy with a mid to full body mouth feel. — 5 years ago

What the heck. Giving it another shot. Dark chocolate and tar flavors compliment the cherry notes. Still young and bursting with energy. But still believe it needs a lot of time to come together. Might have underrated at last tasting. From Haro, España. Naturally. — 7 years ago
Totally drinkable red — 9 years ago
Very nice, extremely drinkable, paired well with my (actually delicious) frozen burrito but also a good sipper after. A lot of fruit - dark berries, a little strawberry - balanced with a smoky, spiciness. Quite smooth. Really great on a beautiful, clear, warm-turning-to-cool spring evening. #españa #rioja #crianza #tempranillo #dogsofdelectable — 10 years ago

Love this wine - soft on the palate, gentle spice (coriander) on the nose. Perfect accompaniment to cooking dinner! — 5 years ago
Non sweet but light bodied. Like a perfect, lightweight, summary pinot. No fruit. Liked a lot. — 5 years ago

Hola¡ taste of España, tonight! Smooth.. — 12 years ago
Cool label. Looks like a classy ancient place. Smells ripe. Some licorice and cherry cola on the nose. Hint of fresh Italian herbs. Maybe some lavender. Flavor is complex. Woodsy with the cedar/sauna thing they do so well over there. White pepper. Dry and chewy. It’s got all the right flavors I expect for a good Temp from España. Lingers with a great black licorice and berry compote finish. — 5 years ago
Deep and dark for a Granacha (aka Grenache). Smells lovely. Clean, fresh water meets berry patch. Lightest of barny element in the nose too. Flavor is fruit driven and oh so clean. Bitterness is prefect. Like cherry juice and fresh blackberries, but not as sweet. Plenty of smoke and woodsy-ness with the fruits & berries. Just lovely, affordable, high quality wine from España! — 6 years ago

After 39 years, this wine still has held up well. Typical Rioja Tempranillo grapes with tobacco, leather and black fruit to the nose. Oaky. Almost no tannins and still balanced.
Given to me by a good friend of mine who obviously kept it well cellared all these years! — 8 years ago
