Very dark colored rose, almost like a Beaujolais in the glass. A deep nose of red raspberry and plum. Juicy and big on the palate with loads of black fruits and a touch of pepper on the back end. It seemed like the perfect moment to have this wine. It already started to show some signs that it was going downhill (teriyaki and soy sensations) one year later and I think it wouldn't be nearly as good.
