Floral light red slight slight hints of tart cherry. Pared with a Sriracha pulled pork pizza at Roots Homemade Pizza Lincoln Square Chicago. Spiciness & smoky flavors of pulled pork enhanced the gentle flavors of this wine. If you like bolder full bodied wines this may not sustain enough of a lingering finish for your taste buds. I had the 2009 Muga tonight. Your nose will be greeted with a wonderful bouquet of dark rich red fruit in a little bit of oak with a hint of floral finish. Once it crosses your lips if you will be greeted with a great dark cherry and a hint of smoke with just the correct amount of tannins. It has a good medium to long finish with a lingering bit of licorice on your palate. I truly enjoyed this wine. It pared well with Mancheno cheese and Spanish almonds. — 11 years ago

Barely a rose, very lightweight and a tiny bit acidic. Very light flavor so can't be pared with something too strong - right now with something too peppered. — 11 years ago
