Nose is big and fruity with plums, cherries and violets. Boat is light but palate is juicy. Flavors of raspberries, tart cherries and a Swiss-cheese twang. Finishes with those plums and cherries from the nose. Great deal for $9. 2013 Vintage. — 11 years ago

This wine reminds me of a deep sea adventure. I'm being swept away on boat of flavors and smells like an ocean breeze of ripe apples and currant. Single barrel Australian Shiraz. Tons of dark fruit,.it doesn't have a full forest floor funk but it does have a boat load of mineral & earth. I have absolutely no idea how this bottle ended up in my cooler since it's not my usual and customary but I'm glad it did! I definitely recommend it if you are a Shiraz fan!
