99 las cases. In an amazing spot right now. I love these ripe Bordeaux with age. All the usual scents- cedar, lead pencil, Leather, tobacco. Awesome stuff. Great drinker right now. — 13 years ago

Nice nose of dark cherry and coffee Very soft on the palate showing plums and fig to go along with the cherries. Very soft an elegant. Has shed its youthful tannins and is in a perfect spot right now. Start drinking those 03's. — 11 years ago

Epic! Right in the sweet spot! absolute textbook G.C.C. that is perfect proof the 1855 is a joke! I sincerely hope it never gains the Unesco status some privileged Bordelais estates are hoping for, if this is considered 'fifth league'. Champagne & Burgundy bravo however! We went 2/2 tonight. This bottle was a testament to perfect storage. Cork was perfect, and the wine was dark ruby with ever so slight bricking at the rim. Awesome. More approachable than the 90 and makes you wanna curl up with it for a long time. Better than the bottle I had at the Montrose vertical a month ago. Blind I would guess 10 yrs newer. For this price point and quality it's a must add. Edged out the Margaux. — 11 years ago
