Apple Jolly Ranchers. Cranberries. Bright and acidic. Lovely — 5 years ago
This is delicious. Dry but still fruity and gloriously fizzy. I bought it for the stripes and I was not disappointed. — 6 years ago
Huge aromatic nose, slight fresh mushrooms, softer texture, soft yet salty and nice acidic spine. Super integrated. Perfect apogee. — 8 years ago
A very stylish Gemischtersatz made with native yeasts and flavors of fennel and anise seed and lots of vegetal Gruner Veltliner snap. — 9 years ago
Mini bocksbuetel makes everyone smile. Sylvaner inside is pretty good too! — 9 years ago
Really cool. Insane acidity — 10 years ago
Quaffable. A great house red wine that doesn't try to do more than it needs. Fantastic slightly chilled and served with grilled foods. — 5 years ago
Vintage 2016 / VDP Grosse Lage / from the famous Eschendorfer Lump, this is the topwine of Horst Sauer. Has more than any other #silvaner: beautiful acidity, buttery in smell, lots of minerals, awesome balance even now the wine is ultra young. This #franken wine has potential to age in to a real beauty. — 6 years ago
Too funky for sipping, but pairs very well with shellfish, brine & butter. Mineral, grass & straw. Complex. — 6 years ago
Apple, crisp, and clean.

Nice and easy and delicious. — 9 years ago
More zip than other Sylvaners I've had. Is florality a word? If so, that is more in the background, but still present. Possible gateway wine for beer drinkers. Oh, and <$20 for a liter? Winnah! Why aren't all bottles a liter? — 10 years ago
7 December 2018. The Four Horsemen, Brooklyn, NY. — 5 years ago
Funky, saline, fairly light bodied, $50ish at Nolita wine store — 5 years ago
Mineral, slightly fizzy, lots of green apple and pear — 6 years ago
Great pet-nat, would drink again. — 6 years ago
Strawberries, blood orange rind, watermelon, satsuma mandarins, iron, smoke. Snapping acidity, light bodied, juicy texture, tangy-salty-slightly off dry yet crisp finish. Highly aromatic, at times savory, at times smoky, fruit persists through. Unique, interesting and uncommonly delicious. — 7 years ago
And it's such things as this that has me missing the remaining portion of the continent. #dirtyfrench — 9 years ago
Minerally, lime, and a bit of honey or honeysuckle? — 10 years ago
