Quaffable. A great house red wine that doesn't try to do more than it needs. Fantastic slightly chilled and served with grilled foods. — 7 years ago
Mineral, slightly fizzy, lots of green apple and pear — 7 years ago
Strawberries, blood orange rind, watermelon, satsuma mandarins, iron, smoke. Snapping acidity, light bodied, juicy texture, tangy-salty-slightly off dry yet crisp finish. Highly aromatic, at times savory, at times smoky, fruit persists through. Unique, interesting and uncommonly delicious. — 9 years ago
A very stylish Gemischtersatz made with native yeasts and flavors of fennel and anise seed and lots of vegetal Gruner Veltliner snap. — 10 years ago

Elegant SB! It appears light. Smooth, earthy with a hint of nuts. It fitted perfect to a garlic-goatcheese quiche; mmm — 9 years ago
Aromatic, nice fruit, hint of dryness, totally balanced. Eating with sushi — 11 years ago
Really cool. Insane acidity — 12 years ago
Almost 2 years since I’ve had this. What a wine. Gorgeous nose of herbal vegetables that are so so fresh. Dynamic mineralIty on the nose with also a hint of fat. Palate is elegant and mineral with wonderful juiciness and a haunting opulent yet undeniably fresh texture. Age has really helped this be fully expressive. Great balance and purity. — 6 years ago

Too funky for sipping, but pairs very well with shellfish, brine & butter. Mineral, grass & straw. Complex. — 8 years ago
Incredible experience. This lightly sparkling Pinot/ Blauer Portugieser is a revelation. Being German, I didn't even know something like this exists. Mind blowing. — 8 years ago
Super easy-drinking wine. — 9 years ago

Nice and easy and delicious. — 11 years ago

More zip than other Sylvaners I've had. Is florality a word? If so, that is more in the background, but still present. Possible gateway wine for beer drinkers. Oh, and <$20 for a liter? Winnah! Why aren't all bottles a liter? — 11 years ago
