Stone IPA is a classic West Coast IPA from San Diego the Mecca of many great beers. This bold, hop forward IPA will never be mistaken for a more refined East Coaster. With its absolutely tantalizing hop bitterness, piney tones and vibrancy this is a big bold awesome IPA. If you like IPAs like I do add this to your list. Touring the many wonderful San Diego breweries is on my bucket list. @Bill Bender Bill this one is for you Cheers 🍻 — 7 years ago
Such a smooth red with very little tannin — 8 years ago
Bigger style like the Hartford R.R. Big Blackberry fruit — 9 years ago

Steady. Tannins nice. Pencil lead. Not incredibly big nor a huge finish but pleasant. $30 makes me wonder why not $24 but Cali price strategies are not in the consumers favor. — 9 years ago
Founded 1972, Tom & Sally Jordan, from CO, went to CA’s wine country & produced inaugural vintage in 1976. A Fav of mine with a steak, and the ‘14 is big! Had the ‘14 over a year ago, it’s Wow Now! Blend of 79% Cab Sauv, 13.7% Merlot, 5.8% Petit Verdot, 1.2% Malbec & 0.3% Cab Franc. Deep Ruby red with aromas of red fruit & perfume spice. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry & blackberry with oak, sweet spice, leather & cacao notes. Rich tannins, well balanced and integrated with fruit & oak. Very Nice! — 6 years ago
Golden yellow color, pineapple and melon nose, big buttery smooth body with a little acidity, lingering bananas. Love. — 7 years ago
Sexy and balanced. Delicious showing. — 8 years ago
Man, for being 15 years old, this was still a beast of a wine. Big, bold, structured, but still had nice acidity. Didn't notice the alcohol, just assumed it would be high given its big, bold nature, but surprised it's at only 13.5%! Lovely wine. — 9 years ago
An extra half point for the absolutely stunning label; Washington doing big things — 9 years ago
As I put my sweet baby girl to bed after a looong day, snuggling with her in her new "big girl bed", I found a stray eyelash on her cheek. Maybe I'm alone in this, but for as long as I can remember I have been superstitiously transferring these from one finger to another...and if I blow the lash off while making a wish, "they" say it will come true. I tried wishing this was a 2007 Screaming Eagle - or that I could magically be beamed onto David Lentine's Napa trip for the night (ha!). Alas, no such luck. Seriously thou, with my kids' lashes, I have always wished the same thing: "may you have a wonderful life." But I made this addition: "may you always have the courage to be yourself." #inthistogether #overturnHB2 #onlylove — 9 years ago

I’m a big fan of PNs from SLH and maybe see SB a second with some others but this Pali (under $20) bottling just kept on opening and ended up with a lot of sweet berries. If you don’t get Pali check them out and join their club. Great drinking whites and reds — 5 years ago
