This one aged well! — 4 months ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and nutty scents. On the palate complex flavors of apple, peach, pineapple and lemon citrus, well balanced with acidity on a nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with oak, vanilla, mineral and citrus notes, will continue to age. A beautiful Chardonnay. Pair this with a Red Snapper topped with a celery, tomato and olive compote. — 5 months ago
Affordable steak night wine. BlackBerry forward. Great option to serve guests preferring cab sauv over Malbecs — 7 months ago
Comparing to the 13 last night...
This is not quite as big in alcohol. Even more opaque. More silky on the tongue. Instead of a green front I got a little spice, nutmeg. Tannins were softer. In sum, I give the slight nod to 2013 Snowden over 2012 Snowden. Experiment complete.
