1983 - holding much better than equivalent Bordeaux. Rich, torrefaction - deep layers of fruit emerging through heaps of forest floor. — 9 years ago
2002 Raveneau Montee Tonnerre. Floral; elegant; rich; balanced nose and palate. Rich and lovely citrus and yellow grapefruit. Better than the 2000 Raveneau Montee Tonnerre. — 10 years ago
Old school. Has some of that over extracted warmth but nothing compared to the Napa Valley juice from the same year. Nice leather tones. Good stuff. Will only get better with age. On the upward slope. — 8 years ago
Terrible when I first opened it, but after 4+ hours of aerating, MUCH better. It's a little high on the price, but a really good wine after aerating it. — 9 years ago
Fantastic Barbaresco! Lives up to the region and is one of the better bottles I've had from there! Good front, tannins and long finish - will stand up to heartier Piedmont fare! — 9 years ago
1973. Awesome. Tasted better than a lot of wines produced in this decade — 10 years ago
