Inky color! Big bouquet of dark fruit and plums. Soft upfront then a slightly sweet plum raisin middle. Then a dry tannic finish. Interesting layers. — 2 years ago
This wine is great! Soft tannins, really well balanced Petite Syrah. Paired perfectly with the wife’s homemade Chilly on an unseasonably cool and rainy spring evening in the valley. Big thumbs up — 7 years ago
Excellent viognier. Enjoyed with Seven Fishes dinner at Enzo's Cucina in Ewing NJ — 10 years ago
Merlot and Syrah compliment each other well. Opens with the mild cherry vanilla Merlot then the richer, spicier Syrah. Solid effort very pleasant finish.

What a surprise--one of the best $12.99 wines we've had in quite some time. Recommended by the hostess at Berghold in Lodi--I was instructed to get it at the Lodi Costco and I always do what I'm told. A stain waiting to happen, do NOT spill this! Dark, inky in color, aromas of dark chocolate-covered blueberries, similar deep dark but supple dark chocolate berry flavors that open up and soften. Very nice! — 11 years ago

Pours inky. Initial taste of sour cherries and dark fruit. The middle softens to mild raspberries and cherries. Ends with dryness and long dryness. — 2 years ago
Almost a sweet dark cherry finish on the nose. Soft taste of plums and other dark fruits and chocolate (?). Minimal tannins. At the winery which stated that the smoke from the 2020 fires produced a “ much more subdued wine than in the past. — 3 years ago
Great wine. Definitely appropriate for special occasions — 10 years ago

Brick colored. Big nose of berries. Wow smooth. Taste of plums , blackberries and other dark fruits. This is an example of what aging does to a great red wine. Minimal tannins but medium dry on the finish. — 2 years ago
