Block M Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2015

Because of 70% stem inclusion you get a little forrest floor with blueberry - tannins are still persistent. — 5 years ago

Le Méal Ermitage Syrah 2000

Intense with smoked meats and great balance of layered flavors, minerals, and acid. Long finish that keeps re-emerging. Awesome — 8 years ago

Les Meysonniers Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

Riktigt fint vin. Lamm eller nöt och någon syrlig sås såsom bearnaise är en perfekt kombo. En fransk favorit. Värd pengarna. — 6 years ago

Louis M. Martini

Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

This was our second bottle. First was uninspiring and despite the 97pt RP rating, found it to be disappointing. The trick is to let it breathe for at least an hour to let the flavors develop. It is no Opus One but very satisfying with a juicy steak or just plain enjoyment! — 8 years ago

Croix de Bois Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2005

A big and structured wine. Aromas of cherries, roasted coffee and fresh herbs. Broad-shouldered and chewy, with good mid-palate depth and firm tannins - plenty of length and grip on the finish. The wine seems nicely balanced, and should age very well. — 10 years ago

Domaine de Bila-Haut Côtes du Roussillon Villages Grenach Blend 2017

Ruby burgundy color. Jammy and fruit forward with berries and some spice. Smoky and a hint of umami. Rhubarb and strawberry. Tart cherry pies. Nice acidity with a hint of wet rubber or something in the palate. A tasty and unique southern red. — 6 years ago

Barolo Nebbiolo 2013

9 vineyard blend. A more feminine and accessible style of Barolo. Just a touch darker in tone and austerity than the Barbaresco with some stronger eucalyptus mint notes. — 8 years ago

Chapoutier never disappoints. Nice and light. Raspberry on the nose and palate. Falls off on the finish. Made for hot summer days. — 12 years ago
