From a favorite local vineyard. They never disappoint. This tastes like a margarita in wine form. Delish! — 6 years ago

Originally founded by the Williams Family in 1981 on a spot along Mill Creek known as the Frog Farm. A blend of 78% Cab Sauvignon, 13% Merlot & 9% Cab Franc, aromas of rich fruits, spice and floral notes. On the palate cherry, raspberry and plum flavors with leather spice and sweet cacao tones. Rich firm tannins give this wine backbone. Lingering finish ending with great mouthfeel of fruit and spice. Nice! Tasting Sample! — 7 years ago
Wonderful flavours of apricots and peaches. A little mineral. Perfect pairing with mustard chicken. — 8 years ago
Great berry flavor, good acidity — 9 years ago
What a mouthful of white burgundy! Yum. More years to go but probably near peak? Last glass after 6 days. Opened another 8/30/18 at frog hollow Jim visit. By mistake. Thought it was a red. Excellent still. Great texture and acidity with biting long finish. — 9 years ago

Elegant wine from France. A very special taste, ideal for Mexican food, dessert and meat.

Terese/Chris first visit to Frog Hollow. Overachiever from Kermit Lynch especially given the age. Golden yellow color and tertiary notes of mature fruit and oxidative notes balanced by bracing acids. — 7 years ago

CVed 3/16/17 Nebbiolo comp. Cork seemed a bit high and will need to check. Great balance and complexity of earth and dark fruits and long finish. Opened at Frog Hollow 7/9/18 final move-in date. Great wine. Same score. No deterioration. — 8 years ago
Groovy spice and moss on the nose leads to a huge blueberry chocolate first blush front mouth sensation that performs a lava-like spread latching and lingering then oddly finishing with a clean freefall leaving one to ponder the front end remnants and, of course, take another swig! It's way big, so, pace proportionately. Also, it's a bit spun-up so decant and let it unravel itself, for the win/win of it all...
PS Isa's Bistro @ one Battery Park in timeless Asheville (previously Vijay's Flying Frog). Great place to chase away the traildust of a full-benefit day on the Harley catching the mountain colors of Autumn living the essence of NC's mountains to the sea...✌🏻️&💙💚🌀 — 10 years ago
