Portugal delivers again. — 8 years ago
This would have peeled the paint off the walls when new. Beautiful now with good fruit and nice spiciness still. Really good. — 9 years ago
This is anything but traditional. The winemaker died a few years ago, his wife releases a little at a time. Mind blowing. — 9 years ago
The last Old Vines Vital made by late António Carvalho. Amber in colour but fresh with great fruit and acidity. Still years to go. — 10 years ago
Vintage 2016 / made of #arinto and #chardonnay / from #portugal #penínsuladesetúbal / it’s a bit introvert with a shy mineral smell with hazelnut, but it’s charme is the vibrant taste with a tiny sweet touch. Definitely my favorite Spring white wine! — 7 years ago

Rely pleased with this wine. Always interested in a Portuguese wine that is not port. And always pleased with them. — 9 years ago
I tasted this new (2014) vintage a couple months ago, and gave it a 91. It's a definite improvement over the 2013, which was decent, but the tannins were a bit too angular IMO. The 2014 package is new, but it looks like they had some "old" label and capsule stock to run out. No worries, the wine is good and the new packaging will eventually be out in the market. This is a gem and should be consumed in copious quantities. So this rating is higher. Deal with it. — 9 years ago
Lovely #Madeira red wine ... — 7 years ago
Douceur soyeuse! — 8 years ago
A solid red blend from Portugal that someone in the group enjoyed after dinner. Cherries and wood notes on the nose and palate. Tons of sediment in the bottle and it was fun to talk to somm about their bottling process. — 8 years ago
Fruity and delicious - very drinkable especially at that price! — 8 years ago
If you see this bottle somewhere, please buy it. The year of 2012 in Portugal produced one of the best grapes. This particular wine was a lucky mistake that I found. Well balanced, earthy taste and smooth to drink. — 9 years ago
Very good entry level ruby. — 9 years ago
