perfect every day gamay. — 9 years ago
Prefer to three valleys. Ageable and affordable. Can taste the new oak in the mid-palate along with dusty fruit and strong, brooding tannins. Tastes throughout the day and was never the same incarnation. Quite the experience.... putting some away for a rainy day. — 9 years ago

Top wine - nose - fruit - taste. Just a perfect day! — 10 years ago
I've always loved this 2nd grow. It's Cabernet dominated blend ages slowly allowing older vintages to taste impeccable. 2004 was not a banner year for Bordeaux, but it offered good values on wines typically selling for over $100. While not my favorite Pichon Lalande, the glass was elegant and refined. Cheers! — 10 years ago
Gamay all day, every day! With some aging on it. Good to drink, still good to keep. — 11 years ago

Christmas Day 3 Litre 12 years old and a lot left — 9 years ago
This wine needed about 3 hours to release. Initially tight with uncomfortable medicinal nose which then totally dissipated. Drinking now next day and you get the age of fully integrated but not fading tannins. Nose has a delightful dark fruit and smokiness. Great fit of nose and taste, meaning - when tastes after smelling the experience is consistent and not jolting. I think the color purple in a subdued way. Very nice. Memo to self: decant and watch for sediment, and enjoy three hours later. — 9 years ago
Divine. Quite possibly the best Champagne I've ever had. I could drink this all day long. — 10 years ago
At Alison Spa - Beautiful Stormy Day! Amazing Wine — 11 years ago
Wonderful new years day spent with Janice and Ronnie and the rest of the Memphis Mafia. What generous friends and amazing wines! — 12 years ago
When you have to travel on a Sunday, and that Sunday happens to be Mother's Day, you're not exactly psyched. This little oasis in the Delta Sky Club afforded me the opportunity to smile. Not a bad pour, regardless of the price. Typical Lynch-Bages cigar tobacco and leather with some luscious and velvety black fruit. Finished a little flat, most likely due to being open for a while in the fancy automated pour gizmo. But still smiling! — 8 years ago
I have to toot my own horn a little on the cork removal gymnastics I performed here. Magyver would have been proud. Big wet earth component, nose of Genoa salami and tobacco. A touch of spice and cherry. Plenty of fruit but tannins dominate. Still nice on day 2. — 9 years ago

Part 2 of a Mother's Day trio of delicious reds. Smooth, full and delicious with a near perfect blend of vanilla and spice. — 10 years ago
Wow. Wine of the day. After Montrose, Calon Segur, and Cos D'Estournel, this is simply outstanding. — 12 years ago

Showing some age, which is the highest compliment. Dried apricot, dried apple, day-old dried-out honey, buttered crouton, funky yeast, subtle acidity. Slightest white pepper. Complex beyond words. Domestic sparkling for the ages. — 8 years ago
