From the "Gang of Four" (courtesy of Kermit Lynch the three others being Marcel Lapierre, Jean Foillard and Guy Breton).
I detect a bit of disturbing band aid notes (as in Brett) which leads me to believe this otherwise great wine/vintage won't last long so drink and enjoy!
Cru Beaujolais are sooo overlooked!!

Better on the 2nd night as it didn't have to follow the likes of Corison and Domaine Eden. Earthy and rich, but finish is flat. Revising up my score a bit! — 9 years ago

20 May 2016. Top of the Standard, New York, NY. — 8 years ago
Savory start to dinner. Light yet oily and easy to drink. Sitting right on the fence between light citrus sauv blanc and the fatter less fruity versions of Viognier. Perfect preparations for socializing and wood fired fish dishes. Liquid grace. She's quiet, smooth, enlightened, and relaxed. Nothing too strong or too weak about her. Great crisp Sancerre that Betsy and I only drink at our favorite sushi place, Soto. Shove it, sake! — 10 years ago
