Ликёрный аромат медовых пряников, топленного шоколада, сиропа из черешни. Насыщенно. Полное тело, во вкусе шоколад, кофе, кислая вишня, пыль, карамелизованное яблоко. Очень интенсивно, очень кислотно. Непростое, интересное "большое" вино. 16,5/20 — 8 years ago
Blend of 5 different grapes from coastal Bairrada and inland Dão. Quite a bit of Brett on the nose (which I like). Meat, game, leather, mushrooms, prunes, and blackcurrants, with soft but gripping tannins and still lively acidity on the palate. — 9 years ago

Vivid nose with vibrant red and black fruits, and chocolate. Elegant but forward at the same time. The palate is rich with smooth sweet fruit and good acidity. Nicely structured. — 10 years ago

Elegant Baga is a great value. Compares with a Bordeaux as a wine to have with steak. Powerful up front, followed by an acidic finish. Luis Pato's winemaking is first-rate. — 8 years ago

Very unique wine. Similar characteristics to Nebbiolo. Beautiful color from the age reflecting a very earthy earthy full-bodied wine. The initial nose also has tar, wet soil and cassis. Needs half a day (at least) to open up. The flavor has cherry, raspberry, tobacco and beef-like flavor. Great smoky finish. Very different for me — 7 years ago
