Magnum 1990 A. Rousseau Clos St. Jacques Gevrey-Chambertin. J&D B brought for our dinner together at Vin. K and I had never had this particular wine in large format before and it was unbelievably fantastic! Couldn't get over how good this wine was. It was just so balanced with absolutely no harsh edges to it and a finish that just kept going. Truly one of the best wines we can remember having. — 8 years ago

1999 Hubert Lignier Clos de la Roche burgundy. Dinner at The G w J&L B and B&K K. Big wine dinner, starting with a 1958 Borgogno and followed by this wine. We decanted this immediately upon being seated and let it breathe for a good hour before pouring. Still huge and a little tight at first, but opened up pretty quickly in the glass. Just got better and better. Big hit. — 8 years ago

2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 9 years ago
