Magnum 1990 A. Rousseau Clos St. Jacques Gevrey-Chambertin. J&D B brought for our dinner together at Vin. K and I had never had this particular wine in large format before and it was unbelievably fantastic! Couldn't get over how good this wine was. It was just so balanced with absolutely no harsh edges to it and a finish that just kept going. Truly one of the best wines we can remember having. — 8 years ago

1999 Hubert Lignier Clos de la Roche burgundy. Dinner at The G w J&L B and B&K K. Big wine dinner, starting with a 1958 Borgogno and followed by this wine. We decanted this immediately upon being seated and let it breathe for a good hour before pouring. Still huge and a little tight at first, but opened up pretty quickly in the glass. 2007 Mauro VS Vino de la Terra Tempranillo. Dinner at Ch Ven w J&L B and J&J D. Huge wine with tons of dark fruit- plum, blackberry- and even chocolate and leather. Really enjoyed. We all would have guessed it was a Cal Cab had we not known. — 9 years ago
Deep baked dark fruit on the nose. Bloody and jammy in the mouth with lots of garrigue and afternotes of charred meat. A bit of green olive. — 9 years ago
This changed a few times over the course of 90 minutes. Eventually resulting in a very delicately perfumed wine with lime, white flowers, nectarine, and petrol. Medium acidity. Lighter texture on the palate. Great value, $65 on list — 7 years ago

Really funky looking cork, sludgy as fuck. Needed to blow off its captivity but was pure and delicious after about 10 minutes. Really enjoyed this. Starting to integrate the sugar nicely. Would be curious to revisit after some more years. Or to try again with spicy food. — 9 years ago
2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 9 years ago

첫잔을 따르니 세월이 작 녹아 들어가 있는 체리빛 색상으로 불곤스러운 자태를 보여주네요
아로마는 약간의 동물적인 가죽냄새를 시작으로, 시나몬, 레드베리의 느낌이 잘 느껴집니다.
