Established in the 1750s by winemaker Pietro di Mastro Berardino. Ruby with complex aromas of berry fruit, spice, floral and oak. On the palate rich fruit flavors of cherry and black raspberry with sweet spice, full oak and slight herb notes. Big grippy tannins, savory, lingering ending with a lot of oak but should soften with time. Very nice! — 6 years ago
