Light, old world Chardonnay. No oak flavor. — 8 years ago
This s#*t is dope. A bit musty on the nose at the start, but give it a few minutes. Then it opens up nicely. Crunchy. Dusty tannins. Locking my other bottles away for a few more years. A Fass Selection purchase. — 8 years ago
Completely surprised with this NZ Sauvignon Blanc. First night having some wine in a long time. Paired with the Salmon over cedar plank with crab topping and honey glaze. I wonder what our New Zealand friends Aurore and Jonathan would think. Please send us more!!! :) — 8 years ago

@Delectable Wine This is a VDF from the Moselle in France. Winemaker is Remi Gauthier. This is 100% Pinot Noir. Slamming nose. Cherry cola, big big cherries, licorice, mineral and even ripe strawberry. Super aromatic and wonderful. Unique as well. So juicy and ripen with ample lip smacking mid season cherry fruit and wonderful acidity and freshness. Terrific purity and freshness. Impressive length and so so well made. — 6 years ago
Built in the 17th century, Château overlooks vineyards of Mercurey in Côte Chalonnaise. In 1934, Marquis de Jouennes, father-in-law of Bertrand Devillard and grand-father of Amaury and Aurore (present owners), produced his first bottle of red Mercurey. Soft red fruit nose with rustic spices. Cherry and raspberry, sweet herb spice, good balance. Smooth tannins, lingering ending with earthy mineral tones. — 7 years ago

A bit young, a bit green. Nice complexity. — 8 years ago
This riesling starts with aromas of white truffle and honeysuckle. On the pallet it is overflowing with green apple, Asian pear, water and pineapple flavors. At the end there enough minerality to make a great long finish — 9 years ago
Great taste. Medium body. Nice finish. Not too sweet. Very enjoyable. — 10 years ago
Very fine wine. We enjoyed it. Recommend — 10 years ago

Someone said natural. Think this is organic farming but I don’t think this is natural wine. Pierre Gauthier, almost 40 acres of Clay/Limestone Tufa in Benais outside of Bourgeuil. Probably just over $25-$30retail, $45-$60 on a wine list. Smoking good. The composite rating here is insanely low for the QPR. Everyone should be drinking these wines. This is a great wine in the grand scheme of things, it’s all about perspective. Entry level wine, the Jour de Soif has no oak, bright fruit, amazing green edge. There is a wet tobacco thing. Classic wine! Love it. — 6 years ago
