2012, Clos des Vignes du Maynes, Cuvee Auguste Bourgogne, Pinot Noir. A very good Bourgogne: tart red fruit, forest floor, wet dirt, acid. Another excellent wine from Julien Guillot. — 11 years ago

Nice different portion of France. Would definitely get again and Becka likes much more than other burgundy's (i.e. Brouilly not a hit). Would say it is equal to a St Emilion in my preference. Got at total wine — 12 years ago

One of the first vintages after Romain Lignier's passing. Black plum and cherry, and sous bois notes. Elegant structure and acidity; will continue to drink for another 10 years. — 10 years ago
