Never go wrong at Penner Ash. Dark fruits, a little vanilla and spice. Delicious. — 10 years ago
Need time down high acid level, needs to smooth out. You can taste a nice wine underneath. — 10 years ago
Another 2012 Willamette gem — 11 years ago
Soaring aromas of spice and lemon followed by bright acid and structure. Gorgeous texture and a precise, long finish. Seven years old and this is a current release! This is what Chardonnay should be. — 11 years ago
Great party wine. Crisp, clean not to sweet. One that is versatile, summer or winter hues. Try with turkey cranberries or just to share with lite fair., — 14 years ago
Good winter Pinot, given depth and body by the Syrah. — 9 years ago
My favorite wine 😍😍 — 10 years ago
Dark red fruit nose. Super ripe black cherry, blackberry, then light spice, like white pepper, and a little bit of funk. Clean on the palette. Very drinkable. Had on jun 29 2016. — 10 years ago
As you see the cork is perfect. I've had this in my cellar for years and decided it was time. At first he nose had a cork smell but now after being open for 4 hours it's a different wine. Pear, apricot, nectarine, and good acid. Not like I'm ever going to have anymore of this so #fugetaboutit — 10 years ago
Sharp bing cherry and raspberry fruit with some oak. Medium finish. Great paired with roasted pork dinner. — 11 years ago
Great Cab — 12 years ago
Medium-full bodied Pinot. Had it with a garlic-crusted roasted pork shoulder & held up quite nicely - even with all the garlic. Loads of dark cherries, spices, & bacon on the palate. Good tannins. Would like to try it in about 5 years to see how it's doing. — 10 years ago
Wild strawberries. Well balanced. Lingers quite a bit. — 10 years ago
Super dry! Not funky. V. Refreshing — 10 years ago
Joe Davis makes one of the finest Cali pilots. — 11 years ago
Sweet, candied fruit on the nose, confirmed on the palate with notes of bourbon, burnt sugar and tobacco leaf. Silky and smooth, drinking beautifully! — 12 years ago
Only shit. I like that. It almost has the feel of a sparking cider. — 13 years ago
Mark High
Bright sharp cherry with a bit of earth. Nicely lean, not jammy. Hides its 14.8% abv. Could stand with a good Sonoma Coast or richer Willamette Valley. I'd say yes. — 9 years ago
