Louis Armstrong and the Dukes of Dixieland are swingin’ it like there’s no tomorrow. And 3 years in the cellar made this grand cru riesling from Biecher perform amazingly. Thick clear golden wine; deep minerals and apples, perfumes, mouthwatering acids and a long violet-grapefruity finish. — 7 years ago
Winemaker Faith Armstrong calls this wine “Tahiti in a glass,” and it really is much like a liquid vacation. It's a pale, straw-gold color with a nose full of flowers, citrus and wet stones. It's not terribly acidic at first, but the freshness really comes on as the wine lingers in the mouth. It feels lean and clean on the palate, and leaves a green apple flavor on the finish. Not strictly a sipper, this wine can handle salads, fish and chicken. — 8 years ago
Nice bubbly sweet white. Light and crisp. — 9 years ago
Thanks to Faith Armstrong of @onwardwines . You make beautifully subtle wines, with texture and class. Please keep on doing what you do. — 9 years ago
Dang gurl.. why dontchya come on over here a little closer? This is delish stuff. Single vineyard Pet-Nat rose from Mendocino. Made by a passionate winemaker named Faith Armstrong Foster and you can see the passion in the bottle. Cloudy appearance due to the pet-nat style, beautiful salmon colour. Took a few minutes for her to come out of her shell, but then she started singing - beautiful aromas of pink flowers, marmalade, orange blossom, and wild strawberries. The palate is wild and vibrant, with some apple and cinnamon, tangerine, cranberry.. a tart finish with a fabulous fizzante. Just a lovely bottle of bubbly made naturally. Friggin great juice. — 7 years ago
Absolute Rockstar! Thank you David for sharing this gorgeous beauty with us. Christine & I uncorked this beauty in celebration our our 15 year anniversary! I love the story behind the wine as well. Thank you for sharing! I owe you one bud!
Lush, extremely balanced, well rounded, opulent dark blue fruit. With a finish that Lance Armstrong would be proud of!! It just kept going and going and going!!
thanks again DAVID 🎤!!!! — 7 years ago
Nothing like a little Pinot Noir for Christmas Eve! Superb intensity and depth! I love Ribbon Ridge Pinot! — 8 years ago
Really enjoying this. Excellent recommendation Mr. Armstrong! Chewy and heavy, but mellowed and not "shiraz-y". Definitely feel the tannins tho, so be warned. — 9 years ago
WOTN. This was my 1st experience with this vintner. I love the style of grape and its production. Rich., opulent, incredible nose and a finish that would make Lance Armstrong winded! Amazing! Thank you Kirk & Veronica!!
Highly., highly recommend it if you can pick it up somewhere., somehow! — 9 years ago
Balanced. Blackberry, plum, cherry, and spice on the nose. The spice pops on the palate as the fruit caresses. Deep and rich yet silky. The type of complexity you want from a Pinot. 2012 — 10 years ago
Oh Chateau Musar how I love thee! This bottle has been open for two days and it still is bursting with all the flavors you remember and a few more! 1999 was the year that Lance Armstrong won his first Tour de France and SpongeBob made his debut. Predictably SpongeBob and this wine are still going strong! — 7 years ago
Delicious sweet red. Fruity. Goes down like juice. Beautiful blend, one of my new favorites. — 7 years ago

This is the sleeper of the night. Opened it to say hello but I'd definitely said goodbye to us and shut the door in our face. We revisited 3 hours later and there was a welcome Mat on the front Palate which stated "Welcome!".
Absolutely insane. Its transformation was insane. Beautifully integrated. The nose of the Night was a toss up between this and another. Incredibly earthy, leather, dark fruit & what a finish it was. Lance Armstrong didn't have this much stamina. Front, Mid & Back Palate . This is firing on all cylinders & we continuously revisited this one through the entire night.
Incredible, simply incredible. Thank you for sharing such a great bottle with us. IOU one! — 9 years ago
Wow., light years beyond Silencieux. Man is this good! Beautiful Oak., awesome integration of blackberry & dark fruit. Impeccably balanced with a finish that would make Lance Armstrong tired to reach! Highly recommend this bad to the Bone Wine! @Kirk Alexander This is a wine that would literally make my buddy Kirk start drinking again during the week!!! 😜🍷🍷😜 — 9 years ago
Rich and full, almost has a Petrol quality. Delicious with anchovies and fried fish! Drank 6/3/16 with Laura Armstrong. — 9 years ago

David's Folly because the winemaker and his friends call each other David. His name is Tim. His friends have other names. Odd.
Cab and CF. Lovely rounded and high toned. Challenging being at a custom crush. Exciting future especially when they get their own space. #wbc18 — 7 years ago
