Compared to my first impression I had when I tasted this boy back in November last year for the first time, the oak appears a bit more present, especially on the palate. Curious to see if & how it will integrates over the next years. Nevertheless a cool, focused Chardonnay which is definitely one of the best examples of this grape variety out of Germany. — 8 years ago
Perfect with Asian spicy fish dish on a sunny afternoon. — 9 years ago
Visited Huber Winery today and tasted 15 of their estate wines. This one really surprised me with forest floor, spice and black chocolate notes. 24 months aging in 60% new French oak - predominately cab and cab franc from clay soil. Old world style with long finish. This would be a great wine to put in a blind tasting of Bordeaux blends. — 10 years ago
From Scott Paul's collection of imports. Lovely balance. Deep dark cherries with a bit of pepper. — 10 years ago
Leads with pleasing citrus tart. Light on the nose and thankfully light on the buttery flavors. Clearly a Chardonnay. Would work with a bold meal , but not a patio sipper. — 8 years ago

Pacherhof Sylvaner. Medium body, crisp with the right amount of fruit and hint of acacia and toasted almond... — 11 years ago
Impressive concentration and depth, roses on the nose, great acid, really well made wine from an apparently a killer vintage in Baden, and an amazing producer. This is the real deal folks — 8 years ago
Breaktime from Xmas shopping with a refreshing lift from the Isarco Valley. Kerner is a personal favorite. With its lilting crisp acidity, white florals, honey, slate, and ripe green apple. Tiny bit of flabbiness which I'll chalk up to a bad vintage but makes up for it with a reasonably long finish. — 8 years ago
Dry as a bone, light and fragrant, stunning. — 9 years ago
