Haven't tried a wine from Lebanon in a while. Wonderful aroma of dark red and black fruits. Tobacco. Cedar. Sour plum. Pretty cool 😎.
This 2020 is aging pretty well. Could go longer but drinking well now, a bit unctuous. Thick. Not a super structured or complex palette but it holds it's own with any Mediterranean lamb dish that you would pair it with. Very similar to Napa cabs but with a bit less finesse but with more interesting aromatics. — 8 months ago
Delicious red I had at pera soho with mom dad ali and Adam. Light but flavorful — 5 years ago
This wine drinks like a Napa red but double it’s price. So delicious! — 6 years ago

At Ammatoli with the team. Really really nice. — 4 years ago
A bit tannic and dry, in the Bordeaux style, but eventually opens up with peach pit, stone fruit, limestone. Beautiful. — 6 years ago
Smoked meat and jam on the nose. Chewy firm tannin and pure red fruits on the palate. Awesome drinking!! — 7 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 1. The 2022 “Levantine de Musar” pours a deep ruby/purple color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of mostly tart, red and black fruit: blackberries, raspberries, cherry, some anise, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. Overall, a fresh and easy expression Musar that’s great with a variety of fare. Drink now through 2032…but best fresh. — 6 months ago

Easy drinking red but velvety blend — 5 years ago
Apparently this is one of the 101 wines to drink you before you die! Cinsault grape, they looked for vines over 50years in age, bit of tart cherry, well rounded, hasn't revealed itself but am excited to crack on! — 7 years ago

Delightfully complex, with some smoky, chocolate undertones. A table pleaser for sure!
