It was a 1996 Cuvée Angeline that turned my head a year ago, then a 2008. This is my first Lassalle blanc de blanc 2008 and it’s flat out gorgeous. Super citrus nose is followed by a creamy almost sweet mid palate, a thick layered wine that has little weight and just dances on the palate. It is really clean and full of finesse, acidity present but not obtrusive, just covered by the pretty fruit. This is really good, even elegant. — 6 years ago
