The cork was questionable in comparison to the last bottle, but didn't seem to matter. Lovely nose filled with flowers but you can really feel the heat of the 15.5% alcohol. Nice tar and smoke on the palate, and an extremely long finish! Probably drank this just in time! — 9 years ago

All red mountain fruit lovely intensity and elegant bouquet a bit of cf and merlot in the blend both red and black berry fruit with pretty floral notes with dark chocolate and sweet tobacco spice. Very lush and forward fruit here with a nice freshness not a big wine in color or size but had lots of nuance fresh earth and light spice notes this wine needs a bit of time but has all the right pieces in place. Blueberry, blackberry with tobacco and coffee beans. Tannins are soft with a good bit of sediment. Great Syrah. — 9 years ago
